First Coast Hunter Jumper Association Clay County Fairgrounds May 14, 2022 Congratulations to our team at last weekend’s local show. This was a nice show for our up and comers to get their start, and a little practice for our more seasoned riders. Couldn’t thank Savannah Schlueter enough for all of her hard work with many of these kiddos. Abigail Pincomb was ch short stirrup on Whoopie Pie. Jules Steffanelli was champion walk trot and walk 9 and under on Moira. Matthew Pincomb was champion in the walk trot cross rails on Whoopie Pie. Aiden Finnieston and Laurentius were res Ch in the 2’6” jumpers. Amelia Gallagher and Emerald City were res Ch in the 2’9” hunters. Sarah Bodin and Remy Martin won the 2’ under saddle class. Megan Monahan and Barcalux got top ribbons in the 2’6” jumpers at their very first show together. Savannah Schlueter and Oxford got top ribbons in the 2’9” jumpers.

Florida Horse Park April 30, 2022 Great weekend in Ocala at MSC! Kascht VDL and Michelle were Ch in the 1.0 m jumpers. Cuba and Jordan Gilday were Ch in the .85 jumpers. Press Play and Erin Conway were CH in the Low Ch Eq and hunters. White Diamonds and MK Reynolds were RCh in the 3’ Childrens Hunters. The Lightning Thief and Sam Baggett were RCh in the 1.0m Ch jumpers. Whoopie Pie and Abby Pincomb were RCH in the ss hunters. Whoopie Pie and Matthew Pincomb were RCH in the Walk Trot. Emerald City and Amelia Gallagher tied for RCH in the 2’9” Ch hunters. A warm welcome and CONGRATULATIONS to the new members of our barn family! Congratulations to Sarah Bodin on the lease of her new hunter, Remy! Congratulations to the Monahan family on their purchase of Barcalux! We can’t wait to see Megan and Pat kill it in the jumpers! Congratulations to the Tumlinson family on their purchase of Argentino! We can’t wait to see where Tino and Nicholas go together!

Florida Horse Park March 30 - April 3, 2022 Beyond amazing week at the Ocala Soring Premier. We had 3 birthdays celebrated between clients and our fearless leader, Michelle. We also had the best horse show week. For sure we have the best barn family there is, and we always have the best time at the shows. Friendship and camaraderie is everything ! Winning is great, but having fun with friends is even better! Here's how everyone did: Amelia and Emerald City were Champion in the low children’s hunters and won the classic. Erin and Press Play were Champion in the low children's equitation, 2nd in the low ch hunter classic Jordan and Cuba were champion in the .85 low ch jumpers and were second in the classic. MK and White Diamonds were 2 in the children’s hunter classic and were 1,2,2,4,4 in the children’s hunters. Michelle and McLaren moved up to the 1.0m jumpers with two clear jumping rounds. Sam and The Lightning Thief moved up to the meters with a 6 place in the childrens jumpers. Savannah and White Diamonds got top ribbons in the 2’9” hunters. Savannah and Cuba got 4 clear blue rounds in the .95m. Michelle and Emerald City got top ribbons in the 2’9” hunters. Venice Equestrian Tour
February 17-20 Fox Lea Farm Venice, FL What a fantastic week in Venice! Every horse shown was either champion or reserve! We always love coming to this wonderful show as it is so relaxing and is our show cation! We can’t wait to come back!

Clay County Fairgrounds February 12, 2022 Savannah and two of our riders had great show at First Coast this weekend! Jules and her new pony, Moira, were Reserve Champion in the walk and were first in one of her w/t classes at her very first show showing in w/t! Aidan and her baby horse, Lorenzo, had a lot of progress getting around the 2’3” jumpers with big classes at Lorenzo’s first bigger show in the jumpers! Successful day! World Equestrian Center
Ocala, FL WEC Winter Spectacular III & IV January 18-23 & January 28-29 Another fantastic competition at WEC! All classes were huge, with 20+ horses and even over 50 horses in some divisions! Jordan and Cuba got top ribbons in the .75 jumpers. Sam and Percy had fantastic clean rounds out of 57 (!) in the low child adult jumpers. Kallie and Rhoda got top ribbons in the 1.10m jumpers and the High Childrens too. Michelle and Toto were Reserve Champion in the Baby Green hunters. Michelle and Max got top ribbons in the USHJA 2’9” out of 57 and were 2,3 4,5 in the young hunters. Amelia and Toto were Reserve Champion in the low childrens hunters and were fourth in the Classic and sixth in the Derby. We also sold two horses at the show! Frosty and Call Me are headed to their new homes up north! Savannah also took Matt & Abby to WEC to compete during Winter Spectacular IV. Abby was 1,7,5 in the cross rails and Matt was 2,7,5 in the w/t ground rails! Florida Horse Park
Winter Classic Air ShowJumping Ocala, FL January 4-9, 2022 We had a smaller, but great group of horses showing this past week. Kallie and Rhoda were big winners earning champion in the high children’s jumpers and 2nd in the $2500 classic! Mary Kate and Mia won reserve champion in the Ocala Hunters 2’9”, top ribbons in the children’s hunters and 3rd in the classic in very competitive classes. Amelia and Toto had top ribbons in the pre children’s hunters and were 2nd in the Bit O Straw Classic. Erin and Ari stepped up to the 2’6” this show and were didn't miss a beat, ending with top ribbons in their division and 3rd in the Bit O Straw classic. McLaren had top ribbons in the baby green and won a class in the 2’9” division. Frosty stepped up to the first year 3'6" greens with top placings in every class against tough competition and was 9th in the derby (my mistake). We've started off 2022 with a great show, and we are headed into a busy show season! We had our barn family Christmas party on December 12th. The picture shows many of our current riders, but we still have our adults and a good handful of kids missing from the picture! We are so grateful to have such a big and wonderful barn family! Thanks to our amazing clients, we have added this beautiful butterfly jump and we've refreshed some of our other jumps as well! Happy Holidays from the M&M Trainers, Michelle & Savannah! World Equestrian Center Fall Hunter Jumper Show December 1-5, 2021 We had a couple of amazing weeks at WEC. Emerald City was champion in the young hunters 5 and under, and got top ribbons in the low children’s hunter and $7500 derby. Rhoda was reserve champion in the high children’s jumper and won the high child classic! Versailles was 2 in the children’s hunter medal and got tip ribbons in the children’s hunters. Whoopie Pie was 1,2,2 in the crossrails and was 3,4,5 in the ground pole class. Bismark got too ribbons in every single 2’ hunter class and won a long stirrup class. Aeropostale also got too ribbons in the long stirrup, winning the under saddle and high score in the classic. McLaren was 2,2,3,4,5 in the baby green hunters. Oxford Van de Padenborre was 2,3,5 in the 1.10m jumpers, showing both weeks. Lightly Frosted was 5 in the 3' nsba warmup class and was 13 in the derby (our 82 was one point below the cutoff ). The Lightening Thief moved up to the .95 jumpers and was in the top ribbons every day. White Diamonds had top ribbons in the .85 jumpers. Kascht VDL made his horse show debut winning top ribbons in the .90 jumpers. Our last show with Pocketful of Posies was a great one as she finished in the top of the .65 and .80 jr/ am jumpers. We sold Baja, Drinks, and Sporty as well. What a crazy couple of weeks! Well done barn family! We were so busy riding and showing that pictures were very limited this week. |
